Every season, with every designer, you can usually find one
thing that almost all the outfits have in common- and that one thing is the
designer’s obsession that season. What’s the one thing peppered throughout our
line right now? Digital Prints!
Digital Prints add a whole new intricate dimension that
fabrics were unable to capture in the past. Now, we can literally take a photo
of a mesmerizing sunset and have it printed on a scarf, sari, or whatever we
want! This new trend allows prints to be crisper and more complex.
The stars have embraced this trend too. Carrie Underwood
wore a digitally printed dress of pink poppies to the Golden Globes; Cat Deely,
the host of So You Think You Can Dance wore
a digitally printed dress that drew in the eye because of its bold pattern; and Keira
Knightley was seen rocking a floor length digitally printed gown at the Olivier
Awards.
If you were at our Masquerade Fashion Show in October, you saw the beginning of our obsession. We absolutely love this story of printed pants, tunics, and dresses!
